Overview: The Beaumont Health Interprofessional Pain Conference will focus on Pain Management in the Ever - Changing Health Care Environment. Attendees from a wide range of disciplines will participate in interactive learning teams to promote interprofessional education. Teams will share ideas and different perspectives for effective assessment and treatment of commonly seen pain management challenges. An interdisciplinary faculty will provide education on evidence-based pain management of case scenarios across the health care spectrum. The conference will integrate lectures, experiential exercises and case-based learning to create a rich educational experience. Health care professionals involved in assessment and treatment of pain are encouraged to attend.
