Course This intensive six-day and three-evening review course is composed to review the current practice with an emphasis on novel advances in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. One-on-one registrant faculty practice oral examinations will be ready for registrants on Tuesday or Thursday evening. There will be a written questions workshop on Monday evening. We also hold a hands-on workshop on musculoskeletal ultrasound and management of spasticity, as well as talks on the Maintenance of Certification procedure in addition to the special one-day electrodiagnosis program on Saturday. Educational Objectives: After participating in this activity, clinicians should be able to: • Include most reliable evidence-based clinical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and assess limitations and capabilities of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic and interventional procedures • Employ the regulatory variations in PM&R and options for MOC lecture and discussion • Embed the evidence-based techniques for performing electrodiagnostic tests into practice • Incorporate a diagnostic procedure for traumatic brain injury, based on awareness of the high incidence • Implement traditional physiatric care regarding traumatic brain injury for assessment and treatment of the concussed athlete • Display knowledge of diagnosis and management of the concussed athlete • Explain conventional injection and implanting techniques when treating spasticity management with botulinum toxin or use of intrathecal baclofen (ITB) pump
