Dear Colleagues, It gives us great pleasure to inform you that despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be holding our 9th Dilemmas & Debates in Colorectal Surgery Conference (DDCRS) on Saturday 11th December 2021 at Bush House, King’s College London, WC2B 4BG. Instead of our usual 3-4 day conference event, we will be holding a one day conference to reignite attendance at physical conferences. The theme of the meeting will be 'Life after COVID-19' and the meeting will be in collaboration with ISUCRS, ACPGBI - South East London Chapter and KCL. As this is probably the first physical colorectal conference in the UK over the last 2 years, we aim to capitalise on the success of our previous DDCRS meetings and also our regular monthly ISUCRS webinars with participants up to 350 delegates. In line with COVID-19 restrictions of large meeting at venue we will have the capacity for up to 100/120 physical delegates so early registration is encouraged as spaces are limited. We are also planning to have some renowned international speakers participate or present to the audience via a web based platform. In true traditional fashion, the conference will continue to have a full colorectal day of didactic sessions including the traditional, lively and entertaining debate session covering topical issues in colorectal surgery, 'the best of 3 abstract podium presentation' session and a consultant corner. Yours sincerely Mr Joseph W Nunoo-Mensah, Professor Narimantas E. Samalavicius, Giordano, Mr Piero Nastro DDCRS 2021 Co-Programme Directors
